SPS Tutor LLC was established in 2016 by educator Ali Tozer, a dually certified teacher in both Florida and Tennessee. From its start, SPS Tutor has grown into a STEM-heavy tutoring organization—nearly all of our staff hold advanced degrees in science and mathematics fields, and every member of our team is a certified educator.
We are not the average tutoring company. Our team specializes in custom-built academic programs, because we know that education is never a one-size-fits-all approach. We work with a wide range of students, including those who are neurodivergent, have learning disabilities, or even physical disabilities, and we design strategies that allow each learner to succeed. Known especially for our FOCUS sessions, which are tailored to support neurodivergent learners but highly effective for all students, our approach blends structure, flexibility, and personalization to maximize outcomes.
Ali herself is a highly proficient tutor in mathematics and test preparation, specializing in the SAT, ACT, and CLT. SPS Tutor LLC provides tutoring services for students across a broad range of levels, spanning Kindergarten through to College Undergraduates.
Our founder, Ali Tozer, brings a wealth of experience from several years of teaching science and math at middle and high school levels. She holds multiple FL teaching certificates in mathematics and sciences and has been recognized by the National Tutoring Association as a master level certified professional tutor.
SPS Tutor offers academic support services in a range of subject areas including Math, History, Science, English Language Arts, Latin, and Spanish. We are Southwest Florida's leading SAT, ACT, & CLT Test Prep experts, with a near 99% success rate serving thousands of students in Florida.
As all our tutors at SPS Tutor are certified educators, we bring experience in working with English language learners and Exceptional Education Students (ESE, 504, IEP). We can facilitate communication with schools, acting as a liaison on your behalf. Tutoring sessions can be conducted in person at our locations in Sarasota, Naples or Fort Myers or Knoxville, via Zoom meetings, or at a local coffee shop or library.
