Hurricane Season & Severe Weather Policy
Monitoring Hurricane Isaias
SPS Tutor operates across multiple locations throughout the United States, including several offices in Southwest Florida. While we do not currently anticipate significant impacts to most locations, we cannot predict weather conditions and prioritize the safety of our students and staff.
If evacuation orders are issued, all in-person sessions in the affected counties will be suspended until those orders are lifted. In-person sessions will also be postponed in any county experiencing dangerous conditions, including flooding, excessive rainfall, or high winds.
Whenever possible, we will transition to virtual sessions to minimize disruptions to students' schedules. We will continue monitoring conditions and communicate any necessary changes as they arise.
Thank you for your understanding and flexibility as we navigate hurricane season together.
About SPS Tutor LLC
The Best Tutoring Service in town
SPS Tutor LLC is a team of certified educators with strong STEM backgrounds, many of whom hold advanced degrees in science and mathematics–related fields. Our tutors bring deep content knowledge and instructional expertise to every session, allowing us to deliver high-quality, personalized academic support across a wide range of subjects and grade levels.
Founded in 2016 by educator Ali Tozer, SPS Tutor LLC was built on the belief that education is never one-size-fits-all. From its inception, the organization has grown into a STEM-focused tutoring team committed to designing custom academic programs that meet students where they are and support meaningful, measurable progress.
We serve students from Kindergarten through college undergraduate levels, working with a wide range of learners, including students who are neurodivergent, have learning disabilities, are English language learners, or receive ESE, 504, or IEP services. Our instructional model emphasizes structure, flexibility, and personalization to ensure each learner receives the support they need to succeed. Our virtual FOCUS sessions, originally designed to support neurodivergent learners, have proven highly effective for students of all learning styles.
Ali Tozer brings extensive experience teaching middle and high school science and mathematics and holds multiple Florida teaching certifications in these subject areas. She is recognized by the National Tutoring Association as a Master Level Certified Professional Tutor and specializes in mathematics and standardized test preparation, including the SAT, ACT, and CLT. Our broader team offers advanced expertise across math, science, English Language Arts, history, Latin, and Spanish.
